How do I get access to iPhone files without iTunes?

  1. If the iDevice Manager is not yet installed, you can download the program here.
  2. Connect your iPhone to the PC with the USB cable.
  3. Start the iDevice Manager and click in the left menu "File Explorer".
  4. The folders from the iPhone are displayed in the tree structure on the left.
  5. In the right half can you see the files of the selected folder.
  6. By clicking on a folder, any existing sub-folders are displayed as an arrow symbol.

How can I copy iPhone files to PC?

  1. Start the iDevice Manager and click in the left menu "File Explorer".
  2. The existing folders and files are displayed.
  3. If you want to transfer the entire folder to the PC, right-click on it and select "Copy" in the context menu.
  4. Now select the folder or desktop where the files should be saved.
  5. If you want to copy one or more files from a folder, mark them in the list with the mouse.
  6. Click in the top menu "Copy" or the same menu entry in the context menu.
  7. You can also choose the target directory on your PC.

How can I delete files from iPhone?

This is not a good idea! Deleting files or folders - including photos - can irreversibly damage the iPhone. Therefore the iDevice Manager does not offer a corresponding function.
