Create custom free iPhone ringtones

The creating of an iPhone ringtone is not possible with iTunes. With the iDevice Manager you create your own free iPhone ringtones from your favorite song or the hit parade with one, two clicks. The iDevice Manager combines MP3 and M4A audio editing programs with the creation of ringtones and the transfer of an iPhone ringtone to iPhone in one application. Create free iPhone ringtone

  1. If the iDevice Manager is not installed yet, download the program from here.
  2. Start the iDevice Manager and click the button "Ringtone Editor".
  3. Select at first the source of the MP3 or M4A file, from which the ringtone you want to create. The first option is "Use device audio library" - that means choose a song from the iPhone - or "Convert external audio file" to use an file from harddisk and the last option is drag an file from harddisk into the program.

  4. When choosing from the music library, then can be selected the music-titel from the list of available songs.
  5. The second option will open a "File open dialog" to select a file from Windows computer.
  6. For the third option, must be selected a MP3 / M4A file in Windows Explorer or Desktop and pull the mouse arrow over the "Title Description" and release the mouse key.
  7. After the MP3 file has been parsed, are the Title-Description fields filled if information are available. The fields title, artist, album and genre are necessary and must contain information.

  8. If the MP3 file greater than 32 seconds, shows the application an information windows. An iPhone ringtone should not longer than 32 seconds.

  9. Now cutting the title to the desired length and the desired beginning of the ringtone.

  10. To start the operation, press the "Start converting and upload to iDevice" button.
  11. The new ringtone is after converting process already registered on the iPhone as default ringtone and active.
In rare cases, the ringtone was indeed activated as default ringtone, but the iPhone plays the old one. In these cases, a reboot of the iPhone is necessary.

Show list of iPhone ringtones

  1. Click the "Ringtones" button to show the available iPhone ringtones or to play the songs.
  2. After loading of the ringtones, are they displayed in the list with titel, file name and file size.

  3. The iDevice Manager provides below the list a search bar to filter the ringtones view.
  4. Below the ringtone search can you find the integrated Media-Player to playback the ringtones.
  5. Like the list of music titles provides this view several functions to download and upload of sounds.
  6. Designed specifically for iPhone ringtones was integrated a "deletion" function. So you can remove old sounds. Note, the iPhone contacts which this ringtone has been assigned, play after deleting the default sound.

  1. To make iPhone ringtones more easily, without activating it as the default, click the button "Ringtones".
  2. Pull a MP3 or M4A audio file from the hard disk or the Windows desktop in the list of ringtones.
