Transfer contacts to iPhone without iTunes

Microsoft Outlook users can sync contacts easily via the e-mail account on the iPhone. But how can be transfered many individual contacts to the iPhone without e-mail account? Transfer contacts manual from PC to iPhone

  1. If the iDevice Manager is not installed yet, download the program from here.
  2. Start the iDevice Manager and click the button "Contacts".
  3. The iDevice Manager is checking at first whether the iPhone or iPad backup is up-to-date. If the latest backup date older then 3 days, should it be renewed.
    Create new iPhone backup The information message should confirmed with Yes.
  4. Available contacts from address book will be loaded from iPhone and the first entry is displayed.

  5. Before a contact can b edit, is it needed to press the "Edit" button below the details view.
    Important!
    
                            The button "Edit" and "Add" is visible only if the our free iOS App iManager App is already installed and the App was found in the data backup from the device. After installation of the iManager App is a renewal of the iPhone backup necessary and a restart of the iDevice Manager too!
  6. It possible to add or change private and business addresses, phone and fax numbers, email, notes and a picture of the contact person.
  7. If a birthday is indicated, the iPhone will add the date to the calendar on the device itself.
  8. To confirm the changes press the "Finish" button.
  9. Thus, the changed data or the new contact person can be entered into the iPhone address book, is a WiFi connection to the iManager App needed.
  10. After successful transfer, shows the iDevice Manager a message.

  11. Parallel to that, can you see in the iManager App the transfer of the contact - this takes less than a second - and added the contact to your iPhone or iPad address book.

vCard files per Drag 'n Drop from iPhone

  1. Before you can create vCard files from the address book, be sure that the iDevice Manager is already installed.
  2. Select one or multiple contacts in the list of contact names.
  3. Hold the mouse key and pull the arrow from iDevice Manager onto Desktop or another folder on the computer. If the destination is achieve, release the mouse button.
  4. When you release the mouse key, starts the copy process to the destination folder.
  5. The file name will be the name of the person, consisting of first and last name e.g. Aaron Lanchester.vcf.
  6. The *.vcf file contains all information about the contact including the picture.

Copy contacts from iPhone / iPad to PC

  1. Select one or multiple contacts in the left list view.
  2. Click the "Download" button bottom right and select from contaxt menu if you want to export the contacts one file per contact or all contacts into one file.

  4. Even simpler does work the exporting of contacts by holding the mouse button and moving it on the desktop.
  5. This procedure is named Drag 'n Drop.
  6. In doing will every selected contact written into a single file.
