Backup WhatsApp Messages from iPhone to PC

Download WhatsApp Messages from iPhone


  1. If the iDevice Manager is not installed yet, download the program from here.
  2. Start the iDevice Manager and click the tab "Messages".
  3. The iDevice Manager is checking at first whether the iPhone or iPad backup is up-to-date. If the latest backup date older then 3 days, should it be renewed.
    Create new iPhone backup The information message should confirmed with Yes.
  4. First, the SMS messages will be loaded and displayed.
  5. During the loading process, or afterwards, click on the button "WhatsApp".
    The messages are displayed on the left tree view sorted by sender. Messages from senders that are not present in the address book, are displayed with call number at the end.
  6. To save all messages from all senders on the Windows PC, press the button "Download".
  7. If you want to download the message from a single contact, select the sender name in the left tree view.
  8. In the latter case, the messages are immediately displayed in known WhatsApp layout as speech bubbles

  9. After click on the download button will be appears a sub menu with output format options.

  10. If you want to transfer from iPhone as text file - "One File Per Message" and "All In One File" - then create the application a folder with the sender name and the messages are put therein. The names of the text files will be equal with received date. During the export process are also saved the photo, video and other attachments on PC.
  11. When you select .csv file format, then are the messages stored in tabular form and the filename is equal the sender name. The program will copy the attachments in a sub folder with same name.
  12. In both aforementioned variants, the iDevice Manager ask at first for the destination location.

Reload WhatsApp Messages


  1. To reload the WhatsApp messages click the right mouse button in the left view.
  2. In the context menu is displayed an entry "Reload".
